About Tabitha
She began her career at Clyatt, Clyatt & Golden, a well-respected defense litigation firm where she served as a supervising associate focused on workers’ compensation, personal injury and wrongful death matters. She then moved to a public defender role for the Tift Circuit working as a felony trial attorney and chief intake attorney responsible for the misdemeanor division with extensive trial experience and a caseload of over 200+ a year. Her career highlights in public defense included working closely with the court system in the implementation of a joint project between the court, District Attorney’s office and the Public Defender’s office establishing a “fast-track” and fair system for calendaring cases.
In 2004 Tabitha established The Ponder Law Group (formerly Ponder-Solomon Law Group), a litigation practice with offices in Atlanta and Valdosta that has dealt with a wide variety of cases from real estate law, product liability defense and automobile accident personal injury cases. The Ponder Law Group has also been utilized in residential and commercial purchases, real estate and refinance closings and complex real estate litigation. Tabitha is also a Contract Attorney serving the Access to Justice Committee of the Judicial Council of Georgia, and was appointed to the Cobb County Superior Court as a Special Master in 2017.
With a keen analytical mind, excellent communication skills and an insightful and engaging personality, Tabitha’s leadership strengths lie in the efficient management of all aspects of her legal practice and consulting services - focused on making sure that her clients have a senior executive focused on their business and service needs.
Tabitha provides legal consultation to lawyers and law firms guiding them on their set-up and/or business growth requirements by providing high value legal consultation services. Drawing from her own experience in running a successful firm, she’s especially skilled at creating innovative solutions to problems and setting up systems to bring in new clients. She also works on providing unique ideas to help efficiently manage your firm and present it in a professional manner, helping lawyers and their firms to better serve their clients and file fewer appeals.
Tabitha discovered her passion for law while taking the Honors Apprenticeship Program at the University of Florida School of Law. She went on to pursue a B.S. of Psychology at Albany State University and sat her bar at the Mercer University School of Law where she was the recipient of the Certified Legal Writing Program.
Tabitha is focused on building strong partnerships and in delivering long-term benefits to the clients she serves. Tabitha brings determination and commitment to her calling and her immense practical experience enables her to provide strategic thinking and proven solutions tailored to your specific legal and consulting needs, small or large.
