Tayo Bland, Esq. is the founding partner of The Law Offices of Tayo Bland P.C., a Manhattan-based law firm that services New York City, the surrounding suburbs as well as throughout New Jersey in the areas of criminal defense, family law, and personal injury. In addition to legal services, Mr. Bland is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and Owner of Bland Realty Group, Inc. a New York Real Estate Company. His wife Shanna Bland works as a licensed salesperson for the company. The two met while attending Howard together.

After receiving his B.A. in Legal Communications (School of C!) from Howard, and later, Juris Doctorate from Barry Law School in Florida, he was admitted to both the New York and New Jersey State Bars. Attorney Bland has over 15 years of Legal Experience beginning with clerkships and positions with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. in the Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Section of the Criminal Division. From there he worked with organized labor as a Contract Administrator with The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists Union or (AFTRA), working and organizing productions under AFTRA’s Collective Bargaining Agreements. Mr. Bland has legal experience working with firms such as Metal Law Group a firm that specializes in entertainment law, intellectual property submissions, and the registration of trademarks with the U.S Patent and Trademark Office as well as business entity formations. He’s also worked with New York real estate giant Alma Realty as Associate General Counsel.  

In addition to practicing law, Tayo is also a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker and works overseeing the day-to-day operations of his family’s 25-year-old real estate company. Mr. Bland has assisted with the sale and leasing of residential and commercial properties throughout New York City.
