Terese (“Terry”) is a nationally recognized employment and employee benefits lawyer with more than 30 years of experience providing practical solutions to businesses. She specializes in ERISA litigation, labor and employment law, qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, stock and other equity plans, health plans, health care reform, welfare compensatory arrangements and nonprofit law. Ms. Connerton attended law classes at Capital University and obtained her J.D. in 1980. Later, she attended law classes at Georgetown University Law Center and, in 1990, obtained a Masters of Law in Taxation, specializing in employee benefits and nonprofit law.
Terry is an active member of the District of Columbia Bar, the Pennsylvania Bar, the Allegheny County Bar, and the American Bar Association. She is also licensed to practice in a number of federal district courts and Courts of Appeals. Ms. Connerton is a longtime member of the Society of Human Resources Management ("SHRM") and the Butler County Human Resources Association
