Before becoming the people’s rights advocate she is today, Amber Anderson Mostyn was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas where she attended and graduated from Trinity Valley School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with degrees in Anthropology and Spanish. After taking a year off to work in Washington D.C. and travel to El Salvador, Amber attended the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. There she excelled in trial advocacy, received multiple awards and honors, including induction into the nationally recognized Order of the Barristers and graduated in 1997. Her talents have taken her around the world, and her legal victories in hurricane, injury, and medical device cases have placed Amber in high demand as Liaison Counsel. In the last five years, Amber and Mostyn Law have held a leadership role in 19 multi-district litigation and consolidated courts. She has helped thousands of people across the United States and in Puerto Rico recover from natural disasters and sought justice for thousands more who have been injured by defective products. In the past, Amber has also served on the adjunct faculty of several Texas law schools. Amber’s burning desire to help those not able to defend themselves is reflected in her work and philanthropy. She and her late husband founded the Glenda Jean Mostyn and Joe E. Moreno Educational Foundation whose primary mission is to move mountains for special needs children and their families. In addition, Amber supports numerous charitable causes, including the Hughen Center, Galveston Historical Foundation, No More Voices, National Multiple Sclerosis Society MS 150, Special Olympics Texas, The River and the Houston Children’s Charity. In additional to her philanthropic work, Amber dedicates vast resources and time to political candidates and progressive causes to make sure that every Texan has a voice in Austin and Washington, DC. Amber has held leadership positions in numerous organizations, including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Democratic Party, Battleground Texas and most recently as the Chair of Annie’s List, an organization dedicated to changing the face of power in Texas politics by recruiting, training and supporting women candidates.

Abraham Garcia grew up in Houston, TX. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at The University of Texas at Austin. He later graduated with honors and obtained his law degree from South Texas College of Law. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Garcia lived in Japan and taught English to elementary and middle school students. Mr. Garcia has been practicing law since 2014. He began practicing law doing insurance defense. He has worked for numerous insurance companies and learned how they operate. Mr. Garcia now represents clients who have been hurt by the negligence of someone else. He helps his clients obtain the best possible results whether it's via settlement or trial. Mr. Garcia’s main area of practice is car wrecks, with a strong focus on 18-wheeler cases. In these cases, his role is to work the case up for trial and obtain as much information as possible that will add value to the client’s case. He believes these cases are unique because there is often a large amount of evidence and information available that can make a significant difference when properly developed. What makes Mr. Garcia’s approach unique is his commitment to continuously studying to stay up to date. Outside of handling cases, he spends time studying through CLEs, trial guides, and webinars to continue improving his skills as an attorney. When clients ask what he does for them, Mr. Garcia explains that his goal is to make sure they get better and to put as much money in their pocket as possible to fairly compensate them for what happened to them. Clients who work with him can expect communication, trust, and guidance throughout the process. He communicates with clients by phone, text, email, through staff, and personally when needed. Mr. Garcia believes a good attorney-client relationship is important because insurance companies are known to drag their feet and unnecessarily prolong cases. He believes trust, knowledge, and communication are important factors in establishing a strong attorney-client relationship and helping clients stay patient throughout the process. Outside of work, Mr. Garcia enjoys studying and spending time with family. He also enjoys traveling and has a goal of completing all 7 Wonders of the World, with 5 already completed, and visiting all 7 continents, with 4 completed so far.

Gennaro Of Counsel to the San Antonio office with nearly two decades of experience as an attorney and investigator. After several years away from San Antonio, he feels privileged to have the opportunity to work with and help in anyway the city’s growing and diverse immigrant community. Gennaro earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and received a full academic scholarship from Ave Maria Law School in Ann Arbor Michigan, where he earned his Juris Doctorate degree. He is a member of the Florida and Texas state bars and has practiced at both the state and federal level. In many of his cases, he has had the honor of fighting for the labor rights of immigrants on an individual and collective basis. In his spare time, when he can, Gennaro enjoys traveling to visit family and friends

Shaunté M. Collins is a native Austinite and first joined Germer in 2020. She graduated from Duke University with a degree in Political Science and certificate in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. She then received her Doctor of Jurisprudence, with honors, from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, Shaunté was awarded the Chief Justice Alma Lopez “Women in Law” Student Leadership Award, was a Deans’ Academic Award recipient, and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society. Shaunté served as a Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and was the winner and Best Speaker of the Linda and Dave Schlueter First-Year Moot Court Competition. Additionally, she served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Rebeca Martinez at the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals.

Latoya Chambers is a Senior Counsel and member of the mass torts and personal injury practice with a focus on dangerous products, medications, and medical devices such as Avandia, IVC filters, Benicar, gliflozins, Actos, Xarelto, Zantac, Pradaxa, talcum powder, infant formula, chemical hair relaxers, and surgical staplers. Latoya established her career working at a nationally recognized mass tort firm for 16 years, first as a law clerk and then as a licensed attorney. She is well versed in managing her client’s cases with integrity and compassion from the moment a client initiates a case, through the course of litigation and settlement process, until the case’s conclusion. A champion for justice and equity, Ms. Chambers is unwavering in her commitment to approaching the practice of law with these people in mind. As a Black and Latina woman who speaks Spanish, she brings a distinctive perspective to her legal practice. Her life experiences have provided her with exceptional insights into the challenges faced by people who have historically been underserved and underrepresented by the legal community. Ms. Chambers is a licensed attorney admitted to the Texas State Bar, the United States District Courts for the Northern Districts of Texas and Illinois, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is an active member of various legal associations including the American Association for Justice, the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, and the J.L. Turner Legal Association. Latoya has received multiple recognitions from the National Trial Lawyers organization and is known for her expertise in civil plaintiff law. Ms. Chambers earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, cum laude, in 2003 from the University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her juris doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas, in 2010. She resides in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex with her family and enjoys spending time with them, trying different cuisines, engaging in art, traveling, baking, watching movies, and gardening.
