Mr. Kinard was born and raised in Southeast Texas. After graduating from Lamar University, he attended Baylor University School of Law where he founded and served as president of the Baylor Public Interest Legal Society, an organization dedicated to public service in the legal profession. Carlos A. Saldaña was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Mr. Saldana moved to Houston, Texas. Mr. Saldana attended South Texas College of Law where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2014. Mr. Saldaña began his legal career as a defense lawyer for several large insurance companies. After trying multiple jury trials to verdict for the insurance companies, Mr. Saldaña shifted his practice to work for victims of negligence. Attorney Alexander Menchaca was born and raised in the border town of El Paso, Texas who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from the civil litigation field. Attorney Menchaca has extensive experience in handling the rigorous channels of litigation, including discovery, leading depositions, drafting complex legal documents, assisting in trial matters, and participating in oral arguments/hearings in front of the judge. Hector Salinas was born and raised in Edinburg, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and received an Honorable Discharge following his tenure. After graduating from UT-RGV, he attended Texas Wesleyan Law School in Fort Worth, Texas, which is now Texas A&M Law School. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2005. His hobbies include writing novels, raising his bull terrier, and sports. He’s also written a screenplay, which eventually became a feature film and premiered on HBO in 2016. Hector Salinas had his own law firm for over 15 years and specialized in immigration, personal injury, and civil litigation. However, maintaining the business side of running his own law firm limited his ability to practice law exclusively, therefore, working with KGS has provided him the opportunity to practice on a full-time basis which has given him a greater appreciation for the law and its purpose. Additionally, he’s a father to three boys and spends as much time as possible raising them because they are his pride and joy. And finally, he takes his oath as a lawyer extremely serious and tries to take a personal interest in every client he represents based on the premise that the client is the sole reason attorneys are necessary.
