Bankruptcies are for a fixed fee provided at the appointment, or over the phone and can range from an attorney fee of $800.00 to $1,000.00 for a Chapter 7 case. Chapter 13 cases are filed for the same fee but usually have a higher attorney fee that we get paid from the Bankruptcy Estate. The filing fee and other costs are not included in this fee. Foreclosure defense work and mortgage modifications are determined on a case by case basis.
