Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I expanded the pretrial detention rights of every person in Nevada charged with a crime. This case established that judges must respect the pretrial detention rights of every person charged with crime and cannot simply hold them for alleged violations without requiring that the state prove that these people in fact did something wrong.
How did you build a successful practice?
Alot of hard work for clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
I think that courtroom and trial skills are absolutely essential for a criminal defense attorney, but a great trial attorney needs great staff members too.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Local knowledge is absolutely essential to successfully advocating for a client.

Our phone consultations allow clients a fuller understanding of their charges and upcoming hearing dates.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
We must have sufficient identifying information for the nature of the client's case to isolate the individual circumstances in which the client finds themselves, including name, date of birth, contact information, jurisdiction, arrest date, case number.

Knowing that I have helped the client and fought hard.
