Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I recently prosecuted a complex Consumer Fraud case involving a property transaction that included allegations against the attorneys for the purchaser and a dubious middle-man. That matter resulted in a significant settlement for my client. Additionally I have actively defended multiple individuals at the Superior and Municipal Court levels who were facing serious criminal and quasi-criminal charges.

How did you build a successful practice?

Since opening my office in 2013 I've been fortunate enough to build my practice through word of mouth from a satisfied client base who have been happy with the results we have achieved. We built that client-base through direct client interaction, access and availability.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Someone who is dependable, who responds to their questions and who makes them feel at ease. A lawyer should have a strong grasp of the client's objectives and advise them of the strengths and weaknesses of their case.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

I was born and raised in the State of New Jersey and have developed relationships in our legal community for over 20 years. That background has served to improve my clients' chances of achieving their objectives.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

We can discuss and identify your legal needs and potentially advise you about solutions.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

The information I need will depend on the nature of the case and your specific legal needs.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

Each lawyer brings their own set of strengths to the challenges that face their clients. I am proud to have established a reputation among my peers and my clients for achieving successful results and negotiating favorably on their behalf.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Serving the needs of clients who are fearful or concerned about the legal process itself.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I am the proud father of two incredible kids, a musician, recording artist and producer..

Are you involved in your community?

Before becoming an attorney I was a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician in several of the major cities in New Jersey including Rahway, Elizabeth and Perth Amboy. As an attorney I have proudly served the needs of the people of Union and Essex County, particularly in the Ironbound section of Newark, where I have actively represented the interests of the Brazilian and Portuguese communities.
