About Thomas
Mr. Going is a partner in the Commercial Litigation Department. He devotes his practice primarily to the representation of insurance companies in insurance contract disputes, and has a broad range of experience litigating complex claims for insurance coverage related to asbestos, pollution, toxic exposures and advertising injury. He has represented clients in all phases of insurance coverage litigation throughout the United States.
Prior to joining White and Williams LLP, Mr. Going was a partner with German, Gallagher & Murtagh in Philadelphia, where he, along with other members of his practice group, acted as national coordinating counsel for a property and casualty insurer on environmental, asbestos and toxic exposure insurance coverage disputes.
Mr. Going received his B.S. in Business Administration from La Salle University in 1980 and his J.D. from Widener University in 1987. Licensed to practice before the bars of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of California, Mr. Going is also admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
