Mr. Farrell is a 1981 Graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where he earned Phi Beta Kappa membership. He graduated with High Distinction with a B.A. History, and was awarded the Herman W. Churchill Award for Excellence in History. He received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut in 1985, where was a member of the National Moot Court Team and the Moot Court Board Executive Board.

Attorney Farrell concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation. He is a member of the state and federal bars in Connecticut and Rhode Island, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the District Court, Western Division of Michigan. He is a member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and regularly lectures on Bankruptcy law developments.

Areas of Practice:

Attorney Farrell concentrates his practice in all aspects of insolvency related matters, including bankruptcy, creditor's rights, commercial litigation, foreclosures and loan workouts. He regularly represents national financial institutions, private investors, small businesses and individuals in bankruptcy court proceedings. His litigation practice extends to a wide range of commercial matters, including lender liability, UCC, probate, construction, partnership and rebusiness disputes.
