About Thomas
Attorney Tom LaFave earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin and continued his studies at Marquette University Law School, where he earned his J.D. in 1976.
Attorney LaFave was a co-founder of the Malm & LaFave S.C. law firm in 1980 along with his long-time partner, Attorney Tim Malm. Following Attorney Malm’s passing in 2006, Attorney LaFave has been proud to carry on Tim’s name as well as his commitment to excellent service for the firm’s clients.
Attorney LaFave’s work is primarily in the area of elder law, litigation and corporate law with a focus on helping each client and family identify and resolve their own unique legal challenges.
Attorney LaFave comes from a long line of attorneys. His grandfather was a judge, and both his parents were attorneys. In addition, his daughter is an attorney in the Milwaukee area. He and his wife live on a farm in Washington County.
