Tom joined Dean & Gibson as an associate in 1999. He became a Partner in 2007. Tom is a native of North Carolina, originally from Greensboro. He also received both his undergraduate and law degrees from universities in North Carolina.
An experienced trial and appellate attorney, Tom has taken numerous cases to jury verdict in District and Superior Courts across the state, and has prosecuted and defended several cases at the Court of Appeals, The North Carolina Supreme Court, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Tom Nance currently practices in the areas of general insurance defense, tort litigation, insurance coverage disputes, construction litigation, personal injury, auto accidents, and appellate matters. He also handles cases involving limited employment law issues and certain business torts.
