Thomas (Tom) M. Root has been practicing law in Southeast Texas for 29 years. He served his county as a helicopter (Huey) pilot in Viet Nam, and returned to graduate from the University of Houston in 1974. He received his Law Degree from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1980, and then practiced in the Beaumont Texas area for 18 years.
After working with the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas, Child Support Division in El Paso and Houston, he opened his private practice of law in the Clear Lake area in 2002 where he practices primarily bankruptcy, family law, and estate planning and probate.
