About Tim
Tim is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He received his Law Degree from Loyola University in 2000. Initially, he began his legal career representing insurance companies, including Allstate Insurance Company, Encompass Insurance Company, Imperial Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, Re-Insurance of American, and several others. During this period, he acquired a tremendous amount of trial experience and maintained an extremely high win ratio.
After spending this time representing large companies, Tim decided to direct his energy and experience fighting these companies on behalf of the individual. In mid-2004, Tim started The Upton Law Firm and has focused all of his attention on representing “individuals” with great success. He has a true passion for assisting the “little guy” against these large organizations. Tim’s spectrum of legal services was broadened in 2004 and he began fighting for the rights of those charged with crimes by the federal and state authorities in Louisiana. He has equal amounts of success in this area of law as well.
