On his way to becoming an attorney, he spent the better part of two decades as a farm laborer, construction and mill worker. He spent two years living in Portland’s poorest neighborhoods running an emergency relief program,
delivering the most basic of assistance to low-income families.
Tim brings valuable lessons learned from rural Oregon and his work in the inner city to his 31-year legal career. The values of hard work and preparation drive Tim to achieve the best possible results for his clients. He has an authentic appreciation for the stress individuals and families face when confronted with personal injury or wrongful death. How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?Very. Having years of experience and knowledge in your county, enables me to better evaluate each and every case in order to achieve the greatest result.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?I can provide information about the process of the particular case, as well as answer questions the potential client may have so they are able to make an informed decision about moving forward with their claim.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?Facts about the case - i.e. parties to the case, dates, times and places.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?Knowing my clients have been represented to the best of my ability.
What are your other interests in addition to law?Avid cyclist and hiker, paddle boarding, cross fit, traveling, yard work, spending time with wife and children.
Are you involved in your community?For the past 30 years, I have volunteered in projects and non-profits, including emergency relief program serving inner-city neighborhoods; served on Board of Directors of St. Mary's Home for Boys, All Saints School; served as VP of Laurelhurst Neighborhood Association; coaching and organizing youth athletics.

A federal judge approved a $10 million judgment against Corizon Health, Washington County and other defendants, settling a lawsuit brought by the parents of a 26-year-old woman who died pleading for medical help while detoxing from heroin in the Washington County jail.
