About Timothy
Before he became an attorney, Tim was an owner of Business Finance Corporation (BFC), an alternative finance company located in Las Vegas, Nevada. BFC lent millions of dollars to hundreds of small and medium-sized companies through accounts receivable financing. BFC was subsequently acquired by an international finance company.
Through his experience with BFC, Tim had an opportunity to work with companies in various industries. From businesses in the start up phase, to those growing faster than cash flow allowed, to companies on the verge of demise due to poor management or unfortunate circumstances, Tim has been involved in all aspects of the business life-cycle.
Of special interest to Tim are sub-contractors in the construction industry, which are generally operated by individuals who are great at their craft, but may need some assistance operating a business. Tim's experience working with and funding sub-contractors has given him a wealth of insight into how sub-contractors can better protect their accounts receivable, as well as protect themselves from liability.
Tim can walk you through the process of choosing a business type, setting up agreements between owners, protecting accounts receivable, collecting accounts receivable, resolving disputes, creating any type of contract or agreement, and more.
In addition to business law, Tim also practices probate, family, juvenile, and criminal defense.
