Questions & Answers

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

When searching for an attorney, look at the attorneys' responsiveness to emails, phone calls, etc... One of the biggest complaints about attorneys is the fact that they are hard to reach when you need them, they don't keep you updated on your case and they never take the time to know who you really are.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge plays a huge role in my cases. Having connections in the community allows me to provide resources for my clients and knowing the other legal professionals allows me to maximize my time and efforts for my clients.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

During a free consultation I like to mostly just listen. I need to hear what the client's legal issues are and decide if that is something I can help them with.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

I need to get all the facts that pertain to the client's issue. Dates, times, actions, etc...

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

The first thing that sets me apart from other lawyers is my level of education. I have my M.D. and my J.D. which is rare. Also, I am a founding partner of my own successful law firm which is community focused. We want to serve the community that we grew up in and give back.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

I like when I can make things more fair. I am a huge proponent for fairness and if my involvement can help my client get a fair deal or be treated with respect then I have done my job.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I am an avid sports enthusiast. I love watching the NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA and pretty much any other sporting events. I am also very family oriented and love spending as much time with my family as possible.

Are you involved in your community?

Yes, I am a member of the Saint Cloud Chamber of Commerce. I am part of the Osceola Business Referral Group and our firm volunteers time to provide free legal advice in Orlando at The Center once a month.
