I built my practice by focusing on the people behind each case. I founded The Howze Law Firm in 2018 after spending my career helping families and individuals through some of the most difficult decisions they will face. I have found that clients value clear communication, practical guidance, and knowing that their attorney is genuinely involved in their case. I work directly with my clients and take the time to understand what they are facing so I can help them make informed decisions about what comes next.

Clients should look for an attorney who listens, communicates clearly, and takes the time to understand their individual situation. Every case is different, and clients need someone who will explain their options honestly rather than simply tell them what they want to hear. I also believe it is important for clients to feel comfortable asking questions and to know who will actually be handling their case.

Local knowledge is very important. Understanding the courts, procedures, and legal community in the area where a case is being handled can help an attorney prepare a client for what to expect. I have practiced in South Carolina for years and have built my practice in the Rock Hill community, so I understand the local courts and the communities I serve. That familiarity allows me to provide guidance that is specific to my clients and their circumstances.

I believe one of the things that sets me apart is that my clients work directly with me. I have built my practice around personal attention, clear communication, and practical results. My background in family law, bankruptcy, and estate planning has also given me experience helping people through very different types of challenges. Whether someone is dealing with a divorce, a difficult financial situation, or another major life decision, I want my clients to feel informed and supported throughout the process.

The most rewarding part of my job is helping people through difficult periods in their lives and seeing them move forward. Family and financial legal matters can be overwhelming, and I value being able to give clients clarity when they may not know what to do next. I also enjoy teaching and sharing what I have learned with the next generation of lawyers. Ultimately, knowing that I have helped someone better understand their options and feel more prepared for what comes next is what makes this work meaningful to me.

I stay active in both the legal profession and my community. I am a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Michigan Bar, and the South Carolina Women’s Lawyers Association, and I serve on the South Carolina Bar’s Law Related Education Committee. I am also a board member of Safe Passage, a local organization that supports survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
