About Trevor
Trevor grew up in farm country on the Eastern Shore of Maryland where he spent his youth sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.
Trevor is a 2007 graduate of the University of Maryland in College Park, where he graduated with a degree in engineering. While in college, Trevor was the captain of the UMD sailing team as well as a delegate to the Inter-collegiate Sailing Association.
After his tenure at the University of Maryland, Trevor attended law school at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he participated in mock trials as well as the intellectual property law society.
In 2010, Trevor graduated from law school and met and married his delightful wife, Crystal, and decided to make South Carolina his new home.
Trevor began his legal career at Nexsen Pruet, LLC, one of the largest litigation law firms in South Carolina. While at Nexsen Pruet, Trevor worked on a variety of hospital, pharmaceutical, state/federal government compliance, and intellectual property lawsuits.
Trevor has spent the last 10 years working on civil litigation matters of nearly all variety from premises liability and medical malpractice to products liability and real estate litigation.
Trevor is admitted to practice in South Carolina, Maryland, and The United States District Court of South Carolina. He is a member of the Richland County Bar Association and the South Carolina Bar Technology Committee.
Out of the office, Trevor is an avid chef and sailor, passions he shares with his wife, Crystal.

When I was diagnosed with cancer in , I was lucky enough to have the love, care, and support of my family and friends. Because not everyone is fortunate enough to have that level of support, financial or otherwise, the South Carolina Oncology Associates (SCOA), where I received all my treatments, started a foundation to provide support to cancer patients in need. I saw first hand the impact the Foundation and its volunteers make on the lives of cancer patients. We will donate a portion of our profits on an annual basis to support the volunteers and program of the foundation.2016

That on or about December 22, 2019 to January 6, 2020, Plaintiffs were paying of Defendants’ hotel, labelled as “Home2 Suites by Hilton Columbia Harbison,” located at 122 Mathias Road, West Columbia, SC 29169.During the second week of the Plaintiffs stay, they began to notice bug bites on their persons and brought this to the attention of management. Nothing was done to protect the Plaintiffs or ameliorate their complaints. At the beginning of the third week, Plaintiffs requested that their room be sprayed for the bugs that were increasingly attacking them at night. They brought management and or staff to the room to show them the active bug infestation in the room, bed and bedding. Again, nothing was done to protect the Plaintiffs or ameliorate their complaints. Plaintiffs left the hotel shortly thereafter.

Defendant Cedric Lamar Winecoff is a citizen and resident of the State of North Carolina. Defendant Winecoff was the driver of the 2006 GMC commercial truck that killed the decedent. This suit arises from a two vehicle collision that occurred on US-123 in Pickens County, State of South Carolina on September 30, 2020.
