Ms. Sanders is an accomplished attorney and litigator. Prior to joining The Colwell Law Group, LLC, Ms. Sanders owned and operated a law practice on Long Island that specialized in matrimonial and family law. Throughout her career, Ms. Sanders has enjoyed working closely with clients, assisting them to navigate the legal process during a difficult time in their lives, from the inception of the litigation process through the resolution of the matter. Ms. Sanders also served as a conflict defender through the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office, where she assisted both criminal and family court clients.

Ms. Sanders received her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College. Ms. Sanders is admitted to the New York State Bar, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Ms. Sanders is fluent in Spanish; she enjoys the outdoors.
