About Vera

Vera Parenti-Ancone has a diverse practice, advising clients in estate planning, estate administration, business succession planning, real estate and business and commercial matters. As part of her practice, she prepares and drafts wills, powers of attorney, advance medical directives (living wills) and trusts; administers estates; advises clients on the formation, liquidation and selection of business entities such as corporations (both for-profit and non-profit), limited liability companies and partnerships; drafts employment contracts, consulting contracts, confidentiality and non-competition agreements and other business agreements; prepares asset and stock purchase agreements for the buyers/sellers of businesses; prepares and advises clients on employment guidelines and policies; and handles various aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including agreements of sale, leases, real estate settlements, mortgages, promissory notes, and shared occupancy and ownership agreements.

Ms. Parenti-Ancone graduated from the Temple University School of Law, where she received a Trial Advocacy Award. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from St. Joseph's University, where she graduated cum laude, and was a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit Honor Society.

Ms. Parenti-Ancone is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Estate Planning Council, an organization comprised of attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, stockbrokers, trust officers, non-profit directors, and other specialists in related professions who are dedicated to disseminating knowledge about estate planning; establishing and promulgating ethical standards among persons engaged in estate and gift planning; and assisting members in rendering better services to their clients through education, the exchange of ideas, and the development of new techniques of estate planning. She is also a member of the Art-of-Caring Sponsorship Committee for The Hickman, a non-profit, residential and assisted living community in West Chester.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Parenti-Ancone served as counsel for a local marketing and communications firm, and served as a director on the boards of a continuing professional and medical education provider in Philadelphia and a homeowners' association in West Chester. She has also provided pro-bono assistance to community residents, as well as to the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians which assists new immigrants. 

Ms. Parenti-Ancone is a member of the bar in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Chester County Bar Associations.
