About Vicki
Vicki K. Johnston was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Worthington, Ohio. She earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in Social Work. After working for several years as a social worker with adolescents, she attended law school at the University of Wyoming, graduating in the top third of her class.
She has been practicing law since 2004. Currently Ms. Johnston is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. She is also a member of the Family Law Committee of the CBA.
She has three reported opinions in the Wyoming courts; in two of which she gave oral argument before the Wyoming Supreme Court. Please see Nollen v. State, 12 P3d 682 (Wyo 2000), Meisenheimer v. State, 27 P3d 273 (Wyo 2001), Hensley v. State, 48 P3d 1099 (Wyo 2002).
Ms. Johnston also argued before the Second District Court of Appeals for Ohio in State ex rel Midlam v. Greenville Local School District 161 Ohio App. 3d 696 (Darke County 2005).
She serves as a Guardian Ad Litem for both the Domestic and Juvenile Courts in Franklin County, Ohio. Ms. Johnston enjoys most outdoor activities as well as spending time with her son in her free time.
