About Victor

In practice for more than 35 years, senior and founding partner Victor J. Cacciatore seeks neither quick settlements nor protracted litigation but rather optimal results for his clients. He personally has represented clients in more than 500 eminent domain cases and has successfully tried many before juries.

Mr. Cacciatore has exclusively represented the interest of Illinois property owners for nearly 27 years. Earlier in his career, he spent 9 years representing the Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois Toll Highway Authority in property acquisition matters. He now uses the knowledge from this experience to help negotiate or litigate cases for property owners that have resulted in the recovery millions of dollars.

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Cacciatore was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois' Attorney General Office's Litigation Division, where he prosecuted criminal and consumer fraud cases. After entering private practice in 1985, Mr. Cacciatore continued serving the State as a Special Assistant Illinois Attorney General.
