About W.
W. Michael Frazier is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, and the WVU College o f Law. His practice primarily involves litigation involving estates and criminal defense, along with employment litigation for both employers and employees. He was selected as the CJA Panel Representative for the Southern District of West Virginia by the chief federal judge of that district, and has served in that capacity since 2010. He has served on the Board of Governors of the West Virginia State Bar since 2009, and was elected President of that organization, representing all lawyers practicing in the state, in 2015. He is a certified arbitrator with the Financial Industries Regulatory Authority {FINRA}, helping people resolve disputes with brokerage firms.
Mike's father founded the firm in 1954, and William Frazier practiced until his retirement in 2016 at the age of 87. Mike joined him after graduating law school in 1985. He is the father of 3 sons, one of whom is a practicing attorney, as is his wife. Mike has tried numerous cases to verdict, and is licensed to practice in both the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia's federal courts, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court, as well as all state courts in West Virginia. He is also a member of the United States Tax Court, and the Federal Court of Claims.
