J. After graduating from the University of North Carolina Law School with honors, Joel spent two years as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit – one year as a staff attorney and one year as a clerk to the Honorable William B. Traxler, Jr. Joel has since spent his entire career helping clients who faced civil litigation in a wide range of practice areas. During that time, Joel has helped a broad spectrum of clients - from individuals to companies in the manufacturing, communications, healthcare, and financial services industries, just to name a few. In addition to his experience in the trial courts, Joel has helped numerous clients in the appellate courts.
