About Will
In 2003, Mr. Beckum graduated from law school at Washington University in St. Louis where he was a member and an editor of the Washington University Law Review. Washington University in St. Louis is consistently ranked as one of the top 25 law schools in the nation.
Prior to graduating from law school, Will attended Georgia Institute of Technology (“Georgia Tech”) in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1998, he graduated with honors with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering.
Will worked as an engineering consultant for several years developing complex manufacturing solutions for businesses. These solutions were implemented for companies across the country including an international auto manufacturer and a company that supplies NASA with components for the space shuttle.
Will practiced law for several years with a civil and criminal defense firm in St. Louis, Missouri before returning to the Southeast in 2007 to reside in Alabama. After moving to Alabama, he worked three years for a large civil litigation defense firm in Birmingham.
Prior to founding Beckum Kittle, Will’s diverse practice has focused on representing individuals and businesses in complex and often high stakes litigation. He has represented a wide spectrum of individuals and business including, engineering and architecture firms, contractors, real estate developers, custom home builders, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies. However, he equally enjoys serving the legal needs of individuals and small businesses throughout Alabama.
Over ten years of practicing law, Will has built an extensive network of experts and outside consultants to help protect the rights of parties in employment, personal injury, construction defect, and environmental cases. He uses his legal training along with his technical background as an engineer to work with these experts to prepare and present the best case to protect your interests.
Will is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Alabama, Missouri and Illinois.
