Cosmo J. Tedone was born on December 13, 1966 in Manchester, Connecticut. Prior to forming the law firm, Tedone & Morton, P.C., he was the senior associate with Chuck Bretz and Associates, P.C. for eight years along with experience as an Assistant Will County Public Defender and private practice in the area of insurance defense and general civil litigation. He was involved with several appeals that resulted in three murder convictions being overturned in 2011. From 2014 to 2024, David served as a Circuit Judge in the 12th Judicial Circuit of Will County, Illinois. During this time, he presided over the felony/criminal division, which is the second largest in the state.
