About William
WILLIAM A. FITZGERALD , born Boston, Massachusetts, 1959. Mr. Fitzgerald received his undergraduate degree from Queens College, City University of New York, in 1980. He attended the University of Connecticut School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1983. He earned a Master of Science degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1984. He was admitted to the bar in 1984 and is also admitted to practice before the Southern District and the Eastern District of the U.S. District Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Since 1985, Mr. Fitzgerald has represented civil litigants in diverse cases, through verdict and appeal. He also serves as a volunteer arbitrator at Civil Court, Queens County in small-claims court. Mr. Fitzgerald is a trial associate with the firm, specializing in the defense of personal-injury matters. He became associated with the firm in 2003.
