About W.
He has significant experience handling claims for clients that have been discriminated against in the workplace. Most claims are brought under a variety of federal anti-discrimination and “whistleblower” statutes. These laws include, but are not limited to, the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Equal Pay Act (“EPA”), the Family Medical and Leave Act (“FMLA”), the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (“SOX”) and the Dodd–Frank Act.
A serious part of his practice is also devoted to protecting the state law rights of employees. He has represented individuals that have made claims under the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act (“PHRA”), the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law (“WPCL”) and the Pennsylvania Whistleblower Law. He has also pursued claims for clients in New Jersey under laws such as the Law Against Discrimination (“NJLAD”) and the Conscientious Employee Protection Act (“CEPA”). Some other areas of his practice include federal and state appellate litigation, employment contract disputes, False Claims Act (“FCA”) litigation and civil rights claims against municipalities.
