About William
After growing up in Eastern Pennsylvania, I moved to Pittsburgh to attend the University of Pittsburgh for both my undergraduate and law degree, where I obtained both in just 5 years. Now, I spend my days taking cases throughout most of Pennsylvania helping those that have been wronged. No case is "too small" and I will work my hardest to obtain a recovery for you.
No Fee for Consultation EVER. I work on a Contingency Fee basis for nearly all my cases meaning that you never owe me a cent unless I am successful in obtaining a recovery for you.

Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
In the past year, my office has resolved many car accident cases and medical malpractice cases. One case that stands out to me is a medical malpractice case where a man lost his leg due to medical negligence, and then subsequently passed away and suit was carried out by his family to get justice for the pain, suffering, and malpractice suffered by their father. I made a big difference in this case throughout its life by pushing the defense side to keep things moving, meeting with the family to discuss the case, and, ultimately, taking many of the depositions that led to the case being settled. Now the family is able to move on with their life with closure from the harm suffered by their dad while he was still with them.
How did you build a successful practice?
My practice's success hinges on the hard work and dedication by myself and the other attorney's at my firm to our clients. We pride ourselves on our radical availability to our clients. If you need us, we are there. One of the most important things in a legal action is the relationship between the client and their attorney. I do my best to bolster that relationship by being in contact with my clients every step of the way to keep them in the loop and always taking any questions or concerns they have to heart.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
To find a successful lawyer, a client should look for someone that will fight for their needs to the best of their ability, no questions asked. Experience matters and here at my firm, there is nearly 100 years of combined experience between the four lawyers in our office. When it comes to difficult cases, all our doors our open and we are able to work together to find the best answer for our clients. Also, Clients should consider a lawyer's ability to be facile with technology. While that might not seem important up front, the truth is that in today's day and age, no part of a case bypasses the computer or internet so a Lawyer's ability to be self-sufficient in their own technology use is very important.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Understanding the local area of where a case will be brought is incredibly important. At the end of the day, while we fight to settle cases for our clients so they can avoid the stress and drama of the courtroom, everything I do is fully anticipating that we will go to trial before a jury and put on a case. That jury is made up of local citizens of the county where the suit was brought, so understanding the demographics of the area and the social atmosphere and values an area has can be incredibly important as we build our case and identify what the focus of the case should be.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
I will be able to discuss with you what the life of a lawsuit looks like and the process we can walk through together to obtain a recovery for you. For many cases, I will be able to make a decision based on a free phone consultation whether you have a viable case at all, however, sometimes, such as in medical malpractice cases, I will need additional information to be provided by you, namely medical records, which we can obtain after an initial consult.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
During a free phone consultation, please have prepared the necessary factual background of a claim, the date the injury occurred on, and any relevant insurance information from yourself or another party. If you have undergone any medical treatment for your claim, a description of that treatment as well of the providers you saw will be necessary as well.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
One thing that differentiates me from other lawyers in my community is my flexibility. I can meet or speak with you as early in the day or as late in the evening for what works for your schedule. I understand the difficulties posed by certain types of jobs and the inflexibility they lead to, so to compensate that, I make myself as flexible as possible to be able to accommodate my clients needs.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
While the legal system can only obtain a money recovery for a person, which can never undo the injuries caused by a defendant or bring a person back that has been killed, the closure that I obtain for my clients by resolving a case for them and obtaining justice against defendants is the most rewarding part of my cases. I also enjoy the detailed work required for more complicated cases, like medical malpractice cases. In order to put the pieces together for a medical malpractice case, oftentimes I must sort through thousands of pages of records, spend hours reading the relevant medical literature, and consult with top experts around the country. All of this is to put together the strongest most effective case for my clients.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
In addition to the law, I love spending time outdoors with my family and friends, hiking and exploring the outdoors. I also love to cook for anyone and everyone and love bringing friends together for a good hearty meal.
Are you involved in your community?
I spend a great deal of time involved in my parish at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA, and St. Rosalia's Catholic Church nearby in Greenfield. I spend a lot of time there working and volunteering in the parish as well as serving the poor through service projects throughout the year. At the Cathedral, I sit on the Implementation Team for the parish, which strives to build a stronger parish community. I am also part of the Knights of Columbus there as well.
