About William
A partner/member in the Firm, Mr. Frank is a graduate of Lafayette College, B.A. 1963, and Brooklyn Law School, J.D. 1966. He served as Captain in the U.S. Army, 1967-69. Following his stint in the military, he became an Assistant District Attorney in New York County and served in that position for four years, 1969-1973. He then associated with the Rockland County DA's office and was promoted to Chief Assistant District Attorney in 1975, and held that position through 1979 when he joined the Firm.
A past President of the Rockland County Bar Association and an active member of the New York State Bar Association, his chosen areas of practice are Criminal Defense, Matrimonial Law, Family Law, and Commercial Litigation. He is a member of the Family Law Section of both the New York State and Rockland County Bar Associations. He has served as a guest lecturer for the New York State District Attorneys Association, an instructor at Rockland Community College, and various CLE courses. He is also an active member of the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and a past Director of that organization. In addition to representing clients, he heads the Matrimonial, Family Law, and Criminal Defense Department of the Firm. Mr. Frank was admitted to practice in New York State in 1966 and to the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Southern Districts, in 1973.
