Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

Successful pursuit of million dollar personal injury automobile accident verdict in back and neck injury case involving who ran a red light with no witnesses and client had prior back and neck problems. Case involved aggravation of pre-existing injuries. Won court judgment by summary decision without trial for client who was a physician or doctor which was close to one million dollars in labor law case for breach of employment contract, including punitive damages and legal fees

How did you build a successful practice?

My practice was by a solid reputation established by community involvement and ultimately built by word of mouth and referrals. The practice grew because we respond immediately to clients, work hard to achieve client goals, are very conscientious, care about the client's needs, are creative in our approach to fast resolutions whether by trial or settlement, and by comparison offer lower fees but better service than other lawyers or attorneys. Experienced for over 30 years.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

A lawyer must be honest, tell the truth to clients and be forthright in all dealings, treat clients like friends and family, and be devoted completely to the needs of the client. The lawyer must have a high level of experience and work hard and fast to achieve the result desired.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

A good lawyer knows the law. A great lawyer knows the court, the judge, the parties, and has a solid local reputation. Knowledge of the local area is essential particularly in car accident cases where we do our own investigation and often know information about the accident scene unknown to any other lawyer or even the client.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

Often we can resolve cases in the free phone consultation. We can provide the client with a good understanding of what it will take to resolve his or her issue, how long it will take, what the result is likely to be, and the cost of the service.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

We need the basic information about the client's needs. We do all investigations, obtain public documents, and make the client's job very simple; just giving us the information we need to understand and pursue the matter.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

My experience and track record are excellent. My zealous representation of clients with truth, honor and integrity have set me apart and developed a reputation for success.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Helping a client achieve his or her goal as quickly and inexpensively, and with as little distress, as possible.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I am well-rounded in all pursuits. I have developed real estate, run various independent businesses, love to travel, and enjoy life. I golf, scuba dive, fly a plane, just to name a few. I generally do not socialize with other lawyers, as my down to earth nature is more akin to that of my clients than my legal peers.

Are you involved in your community?

I am a very active member of my community, including the schools, local charities, the Chamber of Commerce, and civic organizations. I have twice been named Rotarian of the Year by my local Rotary Club, serving as its past president.
