About William
Originally from Florence, South Carolina, Mr. Pavy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the College of Charleston. During his undergraduate career, Mr. Pavy was was recognized for his academic achievements in History, including the distinguished First Families of South Carolina Scholarship award. After college, Mr. Pavy joined the U.S. Marine Corps until he suffered a spinal fracture that required a medical discharge. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the Florida Coastal School of Law. During law school, Mr. Pavy earned various honors for his academic performance including the Book Award in Constitutional Law as well as a Certificate in Legal Research, Writing, and Drafting. He also dedicated his time during law school to the surrounding community and received the Pro Bono Honors Certificate after contributing over 125 hours of Pro Bono work. William is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Horry County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, and gsSCENE.
