William has handled well over 2,000 workers' compensation cases in his career. He has represented a large number of machine shops, hospitals, food stores, and clothing manufacturers as well as all types of employers of varying sizes.
William is a graduate of Lafayette College. Following graduation from college he attended The Dickinson School of Law, where he achieved his Juris Doctorate in 1977.
He began work as an associate for the firm of Wittmack and Borden in Lords Valley, Pennsylvania, where he practiced in general civil and criminal law.
In 1979, William joined the firm of Scott and Lazorchak in Lansford, Pennsylvania, again concentrating in civil and criminal law. After the death of Robert Lazorchak in 1981, he became a sole practitioner and started a concentration in defense litigation.

William currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mahoning Valley Ambulance Association, the Board of Directors of Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation.
