Xavier Hayden | Philadelphia Personal Injury Lawyer

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Xavier P. Hayden worked full-time while earning a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University. Following graduation in 1985, he was hired by the U.S. Navy as a contract specialist. Again juggling work and studies, he graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1989.

Mr. Hayden began his law career as a prosecutor for the Montgomery County District Attorney, during which time he recognized the satisfaction of representing victims who had nowhere else to turn for help. He was promoted through the ranks of the District Attorney’s office, becoming Head of the Major Crimes Unit in 1991. His team of trial lawyers was responsible for prosecuting some of the most violent and serious offenders.

After five years, Mr. Hayden was ready to represent individuals in the private sector. Despite the opportunity to join a large firm and use his trial skills on behalf of large clients and corporations, though, he wanted the same contact with people that he’d come to enjoy in the District Attorney’s office. So he started his own firm to better represent individuals harmed by the negligence of others.

In 2006 his practice merged with Dion, Solomon & Shapiro, resulting in a firm whose commitment to victims of professional and corporate negligence is stronger than ever. In a culture that often forgets the needs and rights of injured people, Mr. Hayden sees his job as crucial to establishing needed checks and balances. He continues to practice in the areas of medical malpractice, products and premises liability, and automobile accidents.
On a personal note, Xavier is married with two children. His passions outside of his family and law are skiing, cycling, and sailing.
