Y. Andre Vital is a founding partner of Snitkin & Vital, LLP. Mr. Vital attended Golden Gate University Law School in San Francisco, California, and Hunter College, a CUNY school in New York City. Mr. Vital returned to New York City just after law school to begin his legal career providing intensive foreclosure defense and counseling with well-established community-based organizations, including Brooklyn Housing & Family Services, and CAMBA of Brooklyn. It was before law school, however, that Mr. Vital discovered his passion for criminal and general defense law, providing Paralegal services for such reputable agencies as New York Legal Assistance Group, Inc. (NYLAG) and the Innocence Project of New York. Originally from the West Indies, Mr. Vital is particularly empathetic of the concerns of the immigrant population, and is therefore right where he belongs practicing law in New York City. Mr. Vital speaks fluent Creole and has a working understanding of French.
