About Zachary
Zachary J. Starr is a native of Utah County having lived there a majority of his life. Upon returning from a Latter-day Saint mission to London, England, Zack resumed his college education and received an Associate in Science Degree from Utah Valley State College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Brigham Young University. Zack thereafter attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University graduating with his Juris Doctor degree.
During law school, Zack was a member of the National Moot Court team, participating in the American Bar Association's National Moot Court Competition in New York City, and awarded "Best Brief" in the annual Rex E. Lee Moot Court Competition. Zack was also a Lead Editor of the Journal of Public Law. He further served as a research assistant to renowned family law professor Lynn Wardle for nearly two years gaining valuable insight and experience in the areas of family law, constitutional law, and related property issues.
More importantly, Zack has supplemented his academic knowledge of the law by assisting numerous clients pursue and defend their claims. As a lawyer specializing in family law, Zack is acutely aware of the need to balance zealous representation with great sensitivity to a client's most cherished relationships. Zack views his role as one who offers honest and sound legal advice while pursuing a client's goals with integrity and passion.
