As a Long Island divorce lawyer and bankruptcy lawyer, Mr. Zeidman has been in practice for over 40 years . During this period of time, he has provided basic legal services to the New York community. Thousands of New Yorkers have been successfully assisted with their divorce, bankruptcy, house closing, and other basic legal services, at very very low fees.
As a graduate of Brooklyn Law School in 1974 and Baruch College of the City University of New York in 1971 (magna cum laude), Mr. Zeidman embarked on a legal career in which he was a pioneer in legal advertising in the Long Island area. His aim was to create an efficient professional law service for people who needed basic legal services such as divorce and bankruptcy at low costs by advertising directly to the public. Primarily using local media, his message of low cost basic legal services for divorce and bankruptcy is today copied by many in the legal community.
For many years, Mr. Zeidman has made his home in Syosset, Long Island with his wife, child, and dog. He is admitted to practice legal services in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also a member in good standing of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Zeidman is an appointed Court Examiner, Referee, and Arbitrator in the New York State Court System.

Over the past years I have represent thousands of people who have gotten a divorce in a very cheap, and very low cost manner. People who had stayed married for 20 or 30 years simply because they could not afford a divorce before they found me.

By being a pioneer in advertising my services on Long Island since the 1970's and providing low cost quality services.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Having practiced on Long Island for over 40 years, knowing the people and the practices of this Court is paramount to having a quick successful outcome.

In a phone consultation, I can get the information I need to tell the client the entire cost of the divorce sought.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
I need to know if the parties have agreed to a division of their assets, if any, and if they have agreed to the support, custody and visitation for any children.

Over the past 40 years I have obtained more divorces on Long Island than any other attorney, more than $35,000 at the cheapest possible price.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Speaking to the clients after their divorce is completed and knowing that I made their lives much better.

I am a volunteer for the American Guide Dog Foundation and the American Veterans Dog Foundation.
