About Adam
Adam Fomby is a founding partner of the firm and focuses his practice on complex civil litigation. He has experience with a wide variety of cases and clients, from representing large corporations to individuals who have been wrongfully injured.
As an eighth generation Texan, Adam has deep Texas roots. However, he grew up mostly outside of Texas before returning to his home state in high school. After graduating from the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Economics, he attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center. Adam began fighting for the underdog early, filing his first law suit in his first year of law school and ultimately defending the case before the Texas Supreme Court. Adam not only honed his litigation skills while in law school but also developed excellent legal research, writing, and editorial skills while serving as the managing editor for the Energy and Environmental Law and Policy Journal at the Law Center.
After law school, Adam began working with a prestigious litigation firm in Houston. It was here that he learned the skills necessary to handle a case from the initial consultation with a client all the way through trial. He eventually left the firm to form Fomby & Fomby. Adam brings an array of litigation experience to the firm along with a unique passion for the law and justice.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys skiing, travelling the world, and trying new foods and restaurants.
