Adam Van Grack has had significant success assisting individuals, corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits on a broad range of legal problems. Mr. Van Grack's litigation practice addresses a broad range of civil litigation issues, including contract disputes, financial disputes, real estate matters, environmental law, technology disputes, bankruptcy matters, liability disputes, toxic torts, and outdoor recreation matters. Mr. Van Grack regularly and effectively negotiates settlements of these same types of civil disputes at both the trial and appellate levels.
Mr. Van Grack is also active in the paddling and outdoor recreation community, and one of his passions is providing legal services to outdoor/sporting entities and champion athletes. Accordingly, Mr. Van Grack regularly counsels clients on outdoor sports and recreation issues, such as contracts, waivers, permits, liability, and property concerns.
Mr. Van Grack also has an extensive expertise in legal ethics and professional responsibility. Mr. Van Grack has served as an expert witness on legal ethics and professional responsibility in the Circuit Court of Maryland, and he currently serves on the Montgomery County Bar Association’s Legal Ethics Committee.
Mr. Van Grack has also been appointed a Professor with a title of Senior Lecturer at Washington University in St. Louis teaching Environmental Law and Policy. Mr. Van Grack has instructed on a wide variety of environmental laws, including NEPA, CERCLA, RCRA, the Endangered Species Act, and the Clean Water Act. Mr. Van Grack , who has a legal and scientific background, regularly advises clients regarding a variety of environmental, natural resources, contamination, and toxic tort issues.
