She is the founder of Girls on Fire, Inc., a nonprofit organization that inspires and empowers young girls to achieve their full potential. Additionally, she is an advocate for raising awareness on higher education, gun violence prevention, and sexual assault, frequently speaking at local schools. Her professional affiliations include the Montgomery County Bar Association, serving as a Board Member of the Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and serving as a member of the Junior League of Montgomery. Ms. Crimiel is also a proud member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and serves as an adjunct criminal law professor at Alabama State University. Ms. Crimiel earned her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Tuskegee University in 2014 and her Juris Doctor from Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2017.
