Ben Hand is the founding partner of Hand Law Firm, LLC. as well as a partner in Hand & Hand Mediation, LLC. Ben was admitted to the Bar in Alabama in 1990 after earning his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Ben completed his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Auburn University in 1987b and has remained an avid Auburn fan. Ben was born in Valley, Alabama and traveled as a child to Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Mexico with his parents who worked as missionaries and teachers. It was during his childhood travels that he learned to love the Central American culture and learned to speak fluent Spanish. After high school, Ben returned to Auburn and has remained a citizen of Lee County for the past thirty-five years. In 1990, Ben founded Hand Law Firm, LLC. He has been practicing for over twenty-five years. Ben focuses his practice on criminal defense, civil litigation, social security, family law, and probate law. In addition to his duties at Hand Law Firm, Ben is also a state registered mediator and has served as a Municipal Judge for over twenty years. Ben has served the cities of Roanoake, Wedowee, Camp Hill and Opelika during his tenure as Municipal Judge and Prosecutor and thus has a unique perspective in criminal defense. Ben lives in Opelika with his wife, Elizabeth Hand and together they are raising their ten children.

He went on to get his juris doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law. Upon graduation from law school in 1998 he went on to found a law firm with a fellow graduate from law school. He has been in the private practice of law since that time. His practice focuses on criminal law, family law, and personal injury. Over the years, Shannon has represented numerous individuals and has been involved with both bench trials as well as jury trials. In addition, he was the prosecutor for the City of Madison for several years. Shannon is a past president of the Madison County Young Lawyers and he is a member of the Madison County Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, and the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association. In addition to his legal activities, Shannon is an active member of the local community. He is a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church and has taught Sunday school there. He was a member of the Criminal Justice Advisory Board at Virginia College in Huntsville, Al. He currently is a board member on the South Huntsville Civic Association and a board member of the South Huntsville Library Steering Committee. Shannon Moore has managed several political campaigns over the years and has run for office himself.

Daniel Rogers Jr., Circuit Court Judge, 10th Judicial Circuit of Alabama from 1997 to 2001. He then joined as a partner with Bouloukos, Oglesby and Mitchell. He is a former Public Defender for the City of Leeds, Alabama and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the Alabama Association for Justice, the Birmingham Bar Association, and is a member of the Small Firm Section and the Bankruptcy Section of the BBA.
