About Allan
In his current role, Allan focuses his practice on IP acquisition, licensing, and enforcement. Allan counsels his clients regarding their IP rights and the creation and management of their portfolios. In addition, Allan is actively involved in selecting, procuring, and transferring IP rights.
Allan’s current focus is built upon a foundation of substantial litigation experience, specialized IP knowledge, and expertise. With this foundation, Allan can vigorously advocate for clients rights while having the knowledge and skill to maintain a balanced approach to addressing IP issues. Allan’s involvement with IP is long-standing. From the beginning of his legal career, IP has consistently formed a critical portion of his practice. In college, Allan completed coursework sufficient to become licensed as a Patent Attorney. In addition, while in law school, Allan served as an intern for the legal affairs department of the Fox Broadcasting Company. Another significant portion of Allan’s experience involves hands-on management and litigation matters control. As a result, Allan is equipped to stand confidently in advancing his client’s needs and goals. This experience allows Allan to counsel his IP clients in navigating or avoiding adversarial situations while being able to provide strong representation if such a need occurs.
Allan’s versatility informs how he manages his specialized IP tasks. Allan is not limited in his abilities or experience in providing clients with full service for their needs. Whether a client needs assistance with technical or artistic matters, business matters or legal procedures, negotiation, or litigation, Allan is prepared to manage all these roles to effectively and efficiently serve the client’s needs.
