About AllynMarie

As a family law attorney, Ms. Smedley also focuses her extensive experience on pre- and post-marital agreements, college contribution matters, spousal grandparent visitation, equitable distribution, paternity determinations, parenting time, domestic violence, non-traditional family law, settlement negotiations, wills and adoptions.

Prior to joining Trace Jenkins, Ms. Smedley clerked for the Honorable Harold U. Johnson, Jr., J.S.C., Chancery Division, Family Part in Cumberland County. Ms. Smedley sits on the board of directors for the Gateway Community Action Partnership, which helps low- and moderate-income residents of seven South Jersey counties overcome roadblocks to self-sufficiency. As part of her commitment to community she serves as a co-coach for Delsea High School’s Mock Trial team since 2011. In 2012, she founded the William T. Nace Scholarship Foundation which provides college scholarships to high school seniors who show a financial need, an effort that was recognized in the October 2012 Super Women issue of South Jersey Magazine. Ms. Smedley was further recognized as an up-and-coming leader by SJ Biz Magazine in the magazine’s annual listing of the top 20 under 40 young professionals.

Ms. Smedley believes that a practical approach, combined with strong advocacy, goes a long way toward minimizing the negative impact a family law matter can have on clients and their families.
