Alvin G. Galstian, Attorney

Alvin Galstian is an associate in Dreier Stein & Kahan LLP's Real Estate and Transactional Departments. Alvin's real estate practice includes representing clients in the development and construction of residential and mixed-use projects, and in the purchase, sale and exchange of commercial, retail and mixed-use properties. His transactional practice includes mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity securities, contract negotiation, and other general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Dreier Stein & Kahan LLP, Alvin was an associate at another prominent law firm in Los Angeles, where he spent a majority of his time representing one of the world's leading hotel and gaming companies on multiple acquisitions and dispositions of resort-casinos, the development of a large mixed-use project, and general corporate matters.

Alvin earned his B.A. degrees in 1996 from the University of Southern California, where he was a dual major in Economics and Political Science. He received his J.D. in 2000 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. While at Loyola, Alvin was the Managing Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review, authored "Protecting Against the Gray Market in the New Economy", 22 Loyola of Los Angeles International & Comparative Law Review 507 (2000), and served as a legal extern to the Honorable Dickran Tevrizian, United States District Court, Central District of California.

Alvin is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association. Alvin also is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
