About America

America Vidana received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne, College of Law. During America’s law school career, she worked for the San Bernardino District Attorney’s Office, Homicide Division, where she assisted in the prosecution of a capital punishment case. In addition, America worked at the University’s Justice and Immigration Clinic, where she provided assistance for individuals seeking asylum in the United States.

Furthermore, during law school America contributed countless hours to providing pro bono legal representation to lower-income families at the Inland Empire Latino Lawyer’s Association; she assisted clients with the naturalization process at the National Association of Latino Elected Officials; and she helped organize the nationally recognized Alma Awards.

Prior to law school, America attended California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While a student at CSUSB, America served as President for CSUSB’s Law Society, and as Vice-President for Pi Sigma Alpha, the only National Political Science Honor Society in the United States.
