About Andrew

Originally from Denver Colorado, Andrew Dunlap moved to Kansas City and attended Northwest Jr. High and Wyandotte High School. After graduating, he went on to attend Kansas City Kansas Community College where he made history as the first African American president of the Freshman class and special assistant to the President! He further distinguished himself as the youngest person ever elected to serve on the Board of Catholic Charities for Wyandotte County, KS.

After graduating from Kansas State University, he was the first African-American to join their Varsity Debate Team and the first to receive the Martin Luther King Scholarship for his excellent academic performance. He then furthered his studies at the University of Kansas School of Law while concurrently enrolled in a Graduate School of Public Administration. To gain valuable experience, he served as an Intern in Wyandotte County's District Attorney Office prior to being commissioned into U.S Air Force where he worked as a Staff Judge Advocate.

With a legal career spanning over 45 years, Mr. Dunlap is renowned for his skill and expertise in various facets of the law; from litigation to criminal defense. He was extremely active within the legal profession as President of J.L Turner Legal Association, State Bar Committees and also served as delegate to The National Bar Association. Currently he devotes much of his time towards estate planning so families can preserve their wealth even after they pass on.
