Horne Law Office was founded by Attorney Andrew J. Horne, representing accident and injury victims and their families, and providing legal services for business litigation, Civil Rights 1983 cases, unfair insurance practices, Class Actions and wage and hour claims.

CROMITY v MEINERS

Attorney for the Plaintiff and Appellant in a civil suit in which said Appellant, an African American police officer sued a talk show host for racially charged comments he made about him including calling him "Black Barney" in reference to Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith show. He also called him a liar and delusional on air. Both the trial and appeals court ruled in favor of the Defendant citing that the speech was protected under the constitution.

NEWTON V. NEWTON

Appellant: Attorney for the appellants, Tina Newton and Carla Ferguson. Newton and Ferguson were the co-administrators of the estate of Clara Sanders. Sanders was slain by the appellee, James R Newton. Who was convicted after pleading guilty to reckless homicide. The estate filed suit seeking damaged for wrongful death and to have the appellee rights to a share of the farm real estate forfeited. A trial court denied the motion and Newton and Ferguson appealed. Upon review of the case the appeals court found no err in the decision made by the trial court. The judgment was affirmed.
