About Andrew
Andrew Sullivant is a lifelong resident of the East Bay. After graduating from Foothill High School in Pleasanton, Andrew studied political science and business administration at San Diego State University. Upon graduating from San Diego State, Andrew moved back to Pleasanton, and one year later, he accepted an opportunity to study law at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. During law school, Andrew focused his studies on criminal law and procedure, and courtroom advocacy. When he graduated three years later, Andrew was elected to the Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization recognizing excellence in written and oral advocacy.
Prior to starting his own practice, Andrew gained experience in all aspects of criminal law and courtroom advocacy strategy. He worked briefly at the San Francisco District Attorney.s office, where he second-chaired two criminal jury trials—one of which was a consolidation of multiple theft cases. He also clerked for a Judge in the Superior Court of California, County of Alameda. While clerking, he observed many trials and hearings with the unique ability to discuss various strategies with a seasoned trial judge. More recently, Andrew has worked at the Mezzetti Law Office, a Bay Area criminal defense firm. While at the Mezzetti Law Office, Andrew has managed hundreds of cases in all stages of criminal and DMV administrative proceedings.
