About Angela
Ms. Peacock grew up in Pearl City , Hawaii . She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Decree in English from the University of Hawaii in 1999. During her education at the University of Hawaii , Ms. Peacock volunteered her time at the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, a non-profit law firm dedicated to assisting low-to-moderate income families. At the Legal Aid Society, Ms. Peacock assisted clients with their family law questions under the supervision of a licensed attorney and she created self-help brochures regarding various family law issues. Based upon this experience, Ms. Peacock developed her passion for the law.
Ms. Peacock obtained her law degree from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha , Nebraska in 2002. During law school, she received the 2002 Advanced Legal Research American Jurisprudence Award and she was named a brief finalist in the International Moot Court Competition. Ms. Peacock also participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program, a program created to assist low income families in filing their federal and state income tax returns.
Since law school, Ms. Peacock has served as a Best Interests Attorney through the Volunteer Lawyers Assistance Program. Ms. Peacock has taught various seminars for continuing legal education programs. She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona Family Law Section and the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section.
Ms. Peacock's educational background and volunteer experience offers a unique perspective and solid foundation for her work in the area of Family Law. She is able to offer her clients a high level of professionalism, compassion and understanding of the emotional issues involved in divorce, custody, paternity evaluations, annulment, child support, spousal support, and grandparent rights. While Ms. Peacock recognizes the emotional and financial benefits in settling matters if it is in the client's best interests, Ms. Peacock is also skilled in the courtroom and she is committed to being prepared in presenting your case to the court.
